16k | 5th Interbank Championships

On Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in Malcesine (VR) as part of the fourth edition of the “Asics Malcesine Baldo Trail” event, the 5th Italian Interbank Insurance Trail Running Championship will be held thanks to the organization of VRM TEAM A.S.D. and the support of Banca Popolare di Sondrio, the championship’s sponsoring bank. The race chosen for the Championship is the Short Trail, characterized by a length of about 16 km and a positive elevation gain of 1,185 meters.

The official rules of the Short Trail are also valid for all purposes for the Italian Interbank Insurance Championship. The same can be viewed on the event website under “16k | Rules and Regulations”

The following requirements must be met in order to participate in the interbank insurance championship:

1. Athletes registered for 2025 for clubs affiliated with FIDAL
2. Italian Athletes in possession of Runcard (valid as sports insurance and permission to compete) and Athletes registered for a Sports Promotion Body (Sec. Atletica), in possession of Runcard-EPS and Runcard Trail, limited to persons from 20 years of age in possession of a valid medical certificate of specific agonistic fitness for athletics, which must be compulsorily delivered, also digitally, to the organizing companies of each event.

1. Italian athletes not registered in Italy holding memberships of clubs affiliated with Foreign Athletics Federations recognized by World Athletics valid for 2025. At the time of registration, they must alternatively submit self-certification of possession of the World Athletics recognized card. The self-certification should then, however, be signed in original at the time of bib pick-up.
2. Be in service, leaving or retired from banking or insurance companies as of April 26, 2025. The aforementioned membership must be certified on the application form which will be signed by the President of the Circle of Membership or delegated person

Entries must be made no later than Saturday, April 26, 2025.

The capped registration fee for championship participants only has been set at €23.00 per participant and entitles:

• Race package with sponsor gadgets
• Pasta party at the end of the race
• Time detection
• Finisher Medal
• Downloadable finisher diploma
• RCT insurance with race accident coverage
• Medical and health plan by CRI
• Any return transportation in case of injury

The following awards will be given for the 5th Italian Interbank Insurance Trail Running Championship:

• ABSOLUTE INDIVIDUALS: top 3 overall male and female finishers, award cannot be combined with category awards
• INDIVIDUAL CATEGORY: the top male and female finishers in the categories of Senior (1991 – 2005), Master A (1990 – 1976), Master B (1975 – 1961), Master C (1960 and earlier)
• IN TEAMS: the top 3 teams ranked based on the sum of the 4 best positions obtained by male participants and the 2 best positions obtained by female participants. The ranking order will be drawn up according to the following criteria:

1. Decreasing number of participants, up to a maximum of 5 men and 2 women

2. Increasing sum of positions

3. Increasing sum of times

Awards will be held at 1:40 p.m., in conjunction with those of the main race
