ASICS Malcesine Baldo Trail reaches 1,000 participants. At the close of online registration, a new attendance record was set for this young but steadily growing event.

The weather forecast for this weekend is optimal, so we can expect two memorable days. The race, designed on the trails of Alto Garda at the border between Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige, will see a decidedly international field this weekend: 18% of the competitors are foreign athletes representing 19 different nations. Female participants also make up a strong 12%. These growing numbers confirm the success of a young event appreciated by an increasingly wide audience. Compared to last year, the +200 increase is a result that leaves the VRM TEAM Asd crew very satisfied.

THE SCHEDULE:
Saturday morning kicks off two days of sport, nature, and fun with the start of the 50 km “ultra” (3,355 m D+), set for 7:30 AM. At 8:30 AM it’s time for the 24 km “medium” race (1,994 m D+). Awards will take place starting at 3:00 PM at the finish area, followed by a live music concert.
Sunday morning at 10:00 AM brings the grand finale with the 16 km “short” race (1,185 m D+), traced through the picturesque streets of Malcesine. Awards for the short race will be held at 1:00 PM. Remember that the short race, no less beautiful and spectacular than the MBT, has dual significance: Fidal regional short trail championship and a national round of the interbank-insurance circuit.

I DO NOT LITTER:
As tradition dictates, the Alto Garda event adheres to the “I do not litter” initiative: any athlete caught abandoning waste along the course will be immediately disqualified.
